Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 204.6 lb, was diagnosed with amyloidosis and was treated with Amifostine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, bundle branch block left, cardiac amyloidosis, chest pain , dehydration, febrile neutropenia, infection , metabolic disorder , myocardial ischaemia. Amifostine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MELPHALAN, COLACE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , dizziness , fatigue, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, hypotension, infection , melaena, nausea , oesophagitis. Amifostine dosage: 2040 MG. During the same period patient was treated with MELPHALAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspiration, hypotension, infection , loss of consciousness, lung infiltration. Amifostine dosage: 500MG IN 2.9ML NS DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with CELEXA, ADVAIR DISKUS, HYDROMORPHONE, METHADONE, NEURONTIN, TRAZODONE, ZYPREXA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
