Amidate Side Effects Report #5670586-8
Amidate side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Mar 02, 2008. Male patient, 61 years of age, weighting 220.5 lb, was diagnosed with induction of anaesthesia and was treated with Amidate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, atrial fibrillation , cerebral infarction, cerebrovascular spasm, loss of consciousness, neurological examination abnormal, pain , refusal of treatment by relative. Amidate dosage: 20 MG INTRACEREBROVENTRICULAR. During the same period patient was treated with ZEMURON, PHENYTOIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hyperglycaemia, hyperosmolar state, loss of consciousness, metabolic acidosis, subarachnoid haemorrhage. Amidate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PENTOBARBITAL CAP, DEXAMETHASONE, PHENYTOIN, MANNITOL, DOPAMINE, PHENYLEPHRINE. Patient recovered.

Amidate side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 07, 2009. Female patient, 44 years of age, weighting 144.0 lb, was treated with Amidate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol poisoning, completed suicide, loss of consciousness, suicidal ideation. Amidate dosage: 40 MG. During the same period patient was treated with CHLORIDE. Patient died.
