Amicar side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 24, 2006. Female patient, 68 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with hypertriglyceridaemia and was treated with Amicar. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina unstable, cardiovascular disorder, electrocardiogram st segment elevation, electrocardiogram t wave inversion, nausea
, post procedural complication, troponin increased. Amicar dosage: 1 GRAM DOSE -TWO 500MG TABS- TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with OMEGA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
