Female patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with staphylococcal infection  and was treated with Ambisome. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myeloid leukaemia, disease progression, disease recurrence, fungal sepsis, lower respiratory tract infection, neutropenic sepsis, pneumonia , respiratory tract infection fungal. Ambisome dosage: 600.00 MG, UID/QD INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with AMILORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/23/2004.
