Ambisome side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Oct 03, 2007. Female patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with zygomycosis and was treated with Ambisome. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: multi-organ failure, renal failure. Ambisome dosage: 10 MG/KG, UID/QD, IV NOS; 5 MG/KG, UID/QD, IV NOS. Patient died on 09/30/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, dysplasia, multi-organ failure, nephrolithiasis, neurological symptom, pearson's syndrome, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, renal tubular disorder. Ambisome dosage: 50 MG, UID/QD, IV NOS; 50 MG, UID/QD, IV NOS. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMIN B12 NOS, PYRIDOXINE, GRANULOCYTE COLONY STIMULATING FACTOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
