After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, alanine aminotransferase increased, amino acid level increased, ammonia increased, anaemia, asthenia, coma, culture urine positive, cytogenetic abnormality. Ambisome dosage: 50 MG, UID/QD, IV NOS. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMIN B12 NOS, PYRIDOXINE, GRANULOCYTE COLONY STIMULATING FACTOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Male patient, 33 years of age, weighting 113.5 lb, was diagnosed with aspergillosis and was treated with Ambisome. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, disseminated intravascular coagulation, hepatic function abnormal, multi-organ failure. Ambisome dosage: 100 MG, UID/QD, IV NOS; 50 MG, IV NOS. Patient died on 04/17/2008.

Female patient, 43 years of age, weighting 249.1 lb, was diagnosed with antifungal prophylaxis and was treated with Ambisome. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, agitation, anaemia, anuria, aplasia, atrial fibrillation , blood creatinine increased, cardiac arrest , cerebral haemorrhage. Ambisome dosage: 3 MG/KG, Q3D. During the same period patient was treated with RASBURICASE, HYDROXYUREA, OMEPRAZOLE, ACYCLOVIR, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, SALINEX, BICARBONAT, ALLOPURINOL. Patient died on 11/13/2007.
