Female patient, 87 years of age, weighting 101.4 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, bronchitis , hypertension, reflux oesophagitis, gastritis and was treated with Amaryl. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, hyperglycaemia, hyperhidrosis, hypoglycaemic coma, unresponsive to stimuli.
