Amarel side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Nov 16, 2005. Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, essential hypertension, oesophagitis, acute myocardial infarction and was treated with Amarel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, barrett's oesophagus, duodenitis, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haematemesis, normochromic normocytic anaemia, oesophagitis, systemic mycosis. Amarel dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PLAVIX, SELOKEN, NEXIUM, NICARDIPINE, NITRIDERM TTS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
