Amarel side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Jan 27, 2005. Male patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Amarel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anoxia, arrhythmia What is  arrhythmia, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, cerebral disorder, coma, electroencephalogram abnormal, nosocomial infection, pneumonia What is  pneumonia. Amarel dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VISKEN, VIOXX, METFORMIN. Patient died on 12/04/2004.
