Amantadine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 24, 2006. Male patient, 84 years of age, weighting 160.0 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease , hypertension and was treated with Amantadine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebrovascular accident, convulsion, dysphagia, hallucination, somnolence, treatment noncompliance. Amantadine dosage: 100 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with PROPRANOLOL, SINEMET, ASPIRIN, AMBIEN, ATIVAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Amantadine dosage: 100 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with ATIVAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
