Amantadine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 12, 2007. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease
and was treated with Amantadine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, dysstasia, hearing impaired, myoclonus, pyrexia, reflexes abnormal, renal impairment, speech disorder. Amantadine dosage: 200 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with DROXIDOPA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.Amantadine Side Effects Report #5832526-8

and was treated with Amantadine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyskinesia, dysstasia, freezing phenomenon, gait disturbance, muscle rigidity, tremor. Amantadine dosage: 50 MG, 3 TIMES DAILY, PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SELEGILINE, MADOPAR, MADOPAR DISPERSIBLE. and was treated with Amantadine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abasia, communication disorder, dysstasia, myoclonus, pyrexia, reflexes abnormal, visual disturbance, vomiting. Amantadine dosage: 200 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with DROXIDOPA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
