Amantadine Side Effects Report #5873104-4
Amantadine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA on Aug 20, 2008. Female patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with tremor and was treated with Amantadine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: areflexia, arrhythmia , blood creatinine increased, blood pressure increased, cerebellar ataxia, cerebellar syndrome, cognitive disorder, confusional state, dysstasia. Amantadine dosage: 100 MG, BID; 100 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with PRAMAIPEXOLE, PROPRANOLOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

During the same period patient was treated with LORAZEPAM, EXELON. Patient recovered.
