Alteplase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 24, 2008. Female patient, 84 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: endotracheal intubation complication, lip swelling, swollen tongue. Alteplase dosage: 7MG ONCE IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with BENICAR, NORVASC, COREG, WELLCHOL, CALCIUM SUPPLEMENT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Alteplase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 26, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke, hypertension and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angioneurotic oedema, dysphagia, swollen tongue. Alteplase dosage: 7.2 MG BOLUS OVER MIN. During the same period patient was treated with LISINOPRIL, PREVACID, CELEBREX, DOCUSATE NA, LASIC, PLENDIL. Patient recovered.
