Alteplase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 22, 2007. Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 160.1 lb, was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain herniation, cerebral haemorrhage, subarachnoid haemorrhage. Alteplase dosage: 7.2MG ONCE IV. Patient died on 06/11/2007.

Alteplase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 17, 2005. Female patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral haemorrhage, headache What is  headache, subarachnoid haemorrhage. Alteplase dosage: 0.9MG/KG OVER 60 MINUTES ONCE IV DRIP (ONE TIME ONLY DOSE). During the same period patient was treated with PHENYTOIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
