Alteplase Side Effects Report #5004057-9
Alteplase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 15, 2006. Female patient, 86 years of age, weighting 194.7 lb, was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, blood pressure increased, brain oedema, disease progression, haemorrhage intracranial, haemorrhagic stroke, loss of consciousness, pneumonia aspiration. Alteplase dosage: 71.2 MG 1 TIME IV. During the same period patient was treated with AMITRIPTYLINE, LEVOXYL, NIFEDIPINE, AMBIEN, LASIX. Patient died on 04/25/2006.

Alteplase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 12, 2008. Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebrovascular accident and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemorrhagic stroke. Alteplase dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
