Alteplase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 16, 2009. Female patient, 70 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure diastolic decreased, cerebral haemorrhage, cerebrovascular accident. Alteplase dosage: 54.5 MG ONETIME IV DRIP. Patient recovered.

Alteplase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 07, 2008. Female patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebrovascular accident and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, aphasia , apnoeic attack, areflexia, cerebral haemorrhage, cerebrovascular accident, coma, hypertension. Alteplase dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL, ASPIRIN. Patient died.

Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 261.0 lb, was diagnosed with cerebrovascular accident and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral disorder, cerebral haemorrhage, cerebral infarction, cerebrovascular accident, necrosis. Alteplase dosage: 0.9 MG/KG ONCE IV DRIP. Patient died on 09/26/2006.
