Alteplase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 22, 2009. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, infusion related reaction, respiratory depression, urticaria, wheezing. Alteplase dosage: 90MG ONCE IV. Patient recovered.

Alteplase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 07, 2008. Female patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebrovascular accident and was treated with Alteplase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, aphasia What is  aphasia, apnoeic attack, areflexia, cerebral haemorrhage, cerebrovascular accident, coma, hypertension. Alteplase dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL, ASPIRIN. Patient died.
