Allopurinol side effect was reported by a Physician from on May 20, 2005. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperuricaemia and was treated with Allopurinol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure fluctuation, cardiac arrest , dysphagia, guillain-barre syndrome , paralysis flaccid, rash pruritic. Allopurinol dosage: 300 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with ENALAPRIL MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysphagia, mucous membrane disorder, renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis, respiratory distress, stevens-johnson syndrome. Allopurinol dosage: 200MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, HEMIGOXINE NATIVELLE, COUMADIN, COLCHIMAX, PERINDOPRIL ERBUMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/02/2006.

Allopurinol dosage: 100MG BID ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLAFORAN, ZITHROMYCIN, VANCOMYCIN, PROTONOIX, COLCHICINE, LISINOPRIL, ACTOS, PLAVIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
