Allopurinol side effect was reported by a Physician from on May 20, 2005. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperuricaemia and was treated with Allopurinol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure fluctuation, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, dysphagia, guillain-barre syndrome What is  guillain-barre syndrome, paralysis flaccid, rash pruritic. Allopurinol dosage: 300 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with ENALAPRIL MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Allopurinol dosage: 200MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, HEMIGOXINE NATIVELLE, COUMADIN, COLCHIMAX, PERINDOPRIL ERBUMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/02/2006.

Patient recovered.
