Allopurinol Side Effects Report #4582889-9
Allopurinol side effect was reported by a Physician from on Dec 06, 2004. Male patient, 70 years of age, weighting 227.1 lb, was diagnosed with hyperuricaemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cardiac failure, coronary artery disease , chronic myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Allopurinol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , blood creatinine increased, blood potassium decreased, dehydration, hyponatraemia, inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion, therapeutic response decreased. Allopurinol dosage: 300 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with THEOPHYLLINE, TOREM, PLAVIX, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID, SPIRONOLACTONE, GLEEVEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
