Allopurinol Side Effects Report #4849707-2
Allopurinol side effect was reported by a Physician from SPAIN on Nov 22, 2005. Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperuricaemia and was treated with Allopurinol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholestasis, eosinophil percentage increased, granulomatous liver disease, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic failure, hepatomegaly, incorrect dose administered. Allopurinol dosage: 300 MG QDAY. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, OMEPRAZOLE, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Allopurinol dosage: 300 MG QD. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
