Allopurinol side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 19, 2004. Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with hyperuricaemia, hypertension, coronary artery disease  and was treated with Allopurinol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, bone marrow depression, bronchitis chronic, cardiac failure, dilatation ventricular, dyspnoea, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haemoptysis, oedema peripheral. Allopurinol dosage: 100 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AQUAPHORLET, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, ACETILSALYCILIC ACID, TOREM, ACTRAPHANE, DIGITOXIN, PENTALONG. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
