Alka Side Effects Report #5724763-8
Alka side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 22, 2008. Male patient, 83 years of age, weighting 169.8 lb, was diagnosed with osteoarthritis  and was treated with Alka. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, dyspnoea, fatigue, haemoglobin decreased, heart rate increased, oedema peripheral, wheezing. Alka dosage: AS USED: 650/2000/3832 MG. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, IBUPROFEN, ZETIA, LIPITOR, PLAVIX, DYAZIDE, FLOMAX, OXAZEPAM. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 57 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with analgesic effect and was treated with Alka. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angioedema, anxiety , blood pressure decreased, bronchitis , dysphagia, dyspnoea, heart rate increased, increased upper airway secretion, pharyngeal oedema. Alka dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 650 MG UNIT DOSE: 325 MG. During the same period patient was treated with ALTACE, LIPITOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
