Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with nasopharyngitis and was treated with Alka. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrointestinal haemorrhage, oesophageal haemorrhage. Alka dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 1000 MG UNIT DOSE: 250 MG. During the same period patient was treated with DILANTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
