Aliskiren Side Effects Report #5461144-9
Aliskiren side effect was reported by a Physician from INDIA on Sept 17, 2007. Female patient, 62 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with essential hypertension and was treated with Aliskiren. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthma , chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, disease progression, respiratory tract infection. Aliskiren dosage: 300 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with AMLODIPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 59 years of age, weighting 245.6 lb, was diagnosed with essential hypertension, depression  and was treated with Aliskiren. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, disease progression, diverticulum intestinal, hiatus hernia. Aliskiren dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ESIDRIX, EFFEXOR, PREVACID, TYLENOL. Patient recovered.

Aliskiren side effect was reported by a Physician from INDIA on Apr 10, 2007. Male patient, 56 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with essential hypertension and was treated with Aliskiren. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood sodium decreased, disease progression, electrolyte imbalance, grand mal convulsion, tongue biting. Aliskiren dosage: 300 MG, + 25MG HCTZ. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
