Alendronic Side Effects Report #5965589-X
Alendronic side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Nov 12, 2008. Female patient, 86 years of age, was diagnosed with osteoporosis prophylaxis, acute myocardial infarction and was treated with Alendronic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myocardial infarction, erosive oesophagitis, gastric ulcer, gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Alendronic dosage: 70 MG ONCE WEEKLY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL, DALTEPARIN, ADCAL, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, CODEINE PHOSPHATE AND ACETAMINOPHEN, DIGOXIN, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
