Alendronate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 21, 2007. Male patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with osteoporosis , coronary artery disease  and was treated with Alendronate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: duodenal ulcer, gastric haemorrhage, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, hiatus hernia, oesophagitis, upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Alendronate dosage: 70MG QWEEK PO. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/25/2007.

Patient recovered.
