Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with osteoporosis  and was treated with Alendronate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, fall , oesophagitis. Alendronate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FOSAMAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
