Alendronate side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Sept 12, 2008. Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with osteoporosis  and was treated with Alendronate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , dehydration, fall , oesophagitis. Alendronate dosage: 70 MG; QW. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
