Alemtuzumab side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NETHERLANDS on June 20, 2008. Female patient, 32 years of age, was diagnosed with t-cell lymphoma, infection prophylaxis, antiviral prophylaxis, antifungal prophylaxis and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain neoplasm, diffuse large b-cell lymphoma, epilepsy , epstein-barr virus infection, lymphopenia, lymphoproliferative disorder, t-cell lymphoma recurrent. Alemtuzumab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, DOXORUBICIN, VINCRISTINE, COTRIM, VALACYCLOVIR, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 41 years of age, was diagnosed with infection prophylaxis, antiviral prophylaxis, antifungal prophylaxis and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytomegalovirus infection , epstein-barr virus infection, erosive duodenitis, febrile neutropenia, histiocytosis haematophagic, lymphoproliferative disorder, t-cell lymphoma. Alemtuzumab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, DOXORUBICIN, VINCRISTINE, COTRIM, VALACYCLOVIR, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient died on 07/01/2007.
