Alemtuzumab and leukopenia Patient Reports February 13, 2012

Alemtuzumab Side Effects Report #5597999-7
Alemtuzumab side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Jan 15, 2008. Male patient, 63 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia recurrent and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: c-reactive protein increased, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, dyspnoea, leukopenia, neutropenia, pain , proteinuria. Alemtuzumab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUDARABINE PHOSPHATE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, TAMSULOSIN, TRIMIPRAMINMALEAT, TIOTROPIUMBROMID, FORMOTEROLHEMIFUMARAT, CIPROFLOXACIN, PREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/24/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: c-reactive protein increased, chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, dyspnoea, leukopenia, neutropenia, pain , pneumonia . Alemtuzumab dosage: unknown.
