Alemtuzumab Side Effects Report #5771579-2
Alemtuzumab side effect was reported by a Health Professional from GERMANY on June 04, 2008. Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with bone marrow conditioning regimen, multiple myeloma , haematopoietic stem cell mobilisation, immunosuppression and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholecystitis infective, haemolytic anaemia, pneumonia , pseudomonal sepsis, respiratory failure. Alemtuzumab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with IDARUBICIN, DEXAMETHASONE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, MELPHALAN, TACROLIMUS, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, NEUPOGEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with bone marrow conditioning regimen, prophylaxis against graft versus host disease and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute graft versus host disease in intestine, acute graft versus host disease in liver, acute graft versus host disease in skin, cough, dyspnoea, encephalopathy, haemolytic anaemia, headache . Alemtuzumab dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 10 MG. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, TACROLIMUS. Patient recovered.
