Alemtuzumab side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 21, 2006. Male patient was diagnosed with kidney transplant rejection and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, dyspnoea, infusion related reaction. Alemtuzumab dosage: 30 MG OVER 3 HOURS ONCE IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, TACROLIMUS, MYCOPHENOLIC ACID, BICARBONATE, SEVELAMER, NEPHROCAP, DARBOPOEITIN, CIPROFLOXACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, anaemia, dyspnoea, haemoptysis, large intestine perforation, pulmonary alveolar haemorrhage, renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis, thrombocytopenia. Alemtuzumab dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 30 MG. During the same period patient was treated with LISINOPRIL, CALCIUM ACETATE, TACROLIMUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, metabolic alkalosis, oxygen saturation decreased, respiratory rate increased. Alemtuzumab dosage: 30 MG ONCE IV. Patient recovered.

Alemtuzumab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUDARABINE PHOSPHATE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, TAMSULOSIN, TRIMIPRAMINMALEAT, TIOTROPIUMBROMID, FORMOTEROLHEMIFUMARAT, CIPROFLOXACIN, PREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/24/2007.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/24/2007.
