Alemtuzumab side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 20, 2008. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, enterococcal infection, klebsiella infection and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacterial infection , bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, febrile neutropenia, pancytopenia. Alemtuzumab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with QUINUPRISTIN, MEROPENEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, prophylaxis, infection prophylaxis, antiviral prophylaxis and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acinetobacter infection, anaemia, angina pectoris, aspergillosis, bacterial infection , cardiac failure congestive, chills, corynebacterium infection, cytokine release syndrome. Alemtuzumab dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 3 MG. During the same period patient was treated with DIPHENHYDRAMINE, ACETAMINOPHEN, SULFAMETHOXAZOLE AND TRIMETHOPRIM, VALACYCLOVIR. Patient died.
