Alemtuzumab Side Effects Report #5811437-8
Alemtuzumab side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on July 02, 2008. Male patient, 26 years of age, was diagnosed with immunosuppression, alport's syndrome and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, anaemia, dyspnoea, haemoptysis, large intestine perforation, pulmonary alveolar haemorrhage, renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis, thrombocytopenia. Alemtuzumab dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 30 MG. During the same period patient was treated with LISINOPRIL, CALCIUM ACETATE, TACROLIMUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acinetobacter infection, anaemia, angina pectoris, aspergillosis, bacterial infection , cardiac failure congestive, chills, corynebacterium infection, cytokine release syndrome. Alemtuzumab dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 3 MG. During the same period patient was treated with DIPHENHYDRAMINE, ACETAMINOPHEN, SULFAMETHOXAZOLE AND TRIMETHOPRIM, VALACYCLOVIR. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alveolitis fibrosing, anaemia, ascites, cryptogenic organising pneumonia, febrile neutropenia, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, hepatic cirrhosis, melaena. Alemtuzumab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUDARABINE PHOSPHATE, MELPHALAN, CYCLOSPORINE, RITUXIMAB. Patient died.
