Alemtuzumab side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from ITALY on Nov 12, 2008. Male patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, polyomavirus-associated nephropathy. Alemtuzumab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, TACROLIMUS, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient recovered.

Female patient was diagnosed with bone marrow failure, prophylaxis and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, hyperbilirubinaemia, infection , pyrexia, rash . Alemtuzumab dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 10 MG. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOSPORINE, CIPROFLOXACIN, ACYCLOVIR, BACTRIM. Patient died.
