Alemtuzumab Side Effects Report #5630491-X
Alemtuzumab side effect was reported by a Health Professional from MEXICO on Feb 05, 2008. Male patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with graft versus host disease, stem cell transplant, prophylaxis against graft versus host disease, antifungal prophylaxis, antiviral prophylaxis and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute graft versus host disease in intestine, acute graft versus host disease in skin, no therapeutic response. Alemtuzumab dosage: AS USED: 10 MG. During the same period patient was treated with FLUDARABINE, CYCLOSPORINE, CORTICOSTEROIDS, METHOTREXATE, TRIMETHOPRIM, FLUCONAZOLE, ITRACONAZOLE, ACYCLOVIR. Patient died.

Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with bone marrow conditioning regimen, prophylaxis against graft versus host disease and was treated with Alemtuzumab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute graft versus host disease in intestine, acute graft versus host disease in liver, acute graft versus host disease in skin, cough, dyspnoea, encephalopathy, haemolytic anaemia, headache . Alemtuzumab dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 10 MG. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, TACROLIMUS. Patient recovered.
