Female patient, child 8 years of age, weighting 35.71 lb, was diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidosis i and was treated with Aldurazyme. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, ear infection , heart rate increased, oxygen saturation decreased, pyrexia, upper respiratory tract infection, wheezing. Aldurazyme dosage: 11.6 MG QWK IV. During the same period patient was treated with TYLENOL, BENADRYL. Patient recovered.
