Aldactone side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 26, 2005. Male patient, 93 years of age, was diagnosed with oedema peripheral, diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Aldactone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, dehydration, depressed level of consciousness, diarrhoea, dyspnoea, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, lactic acidosis, renal failure, urinary tract infection . Aldactone dosage: 50 MG (DAILY), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BUFORMIN, GLYBURIDE, FUROSEMIDE, CANDESARTAN, NIFEDIPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
