Albumin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CANADA on Jan 15, 2007. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with pleural effusion and was treated with Albumin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute pulmonary oedema, cardio-respiratory arrest, haemoptysis, hypertension, oliguria, shock, transfusion-related acute lung injury. Albumin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RED BLOOD CELLS, LASIX. Patient died on 10/28/2006.

Female patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with coronary artery disease What is  coronary artery disease and was treated with Albumin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: shock, vasodilatation, ventricular fibrillation. Albumin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ROCURONIUM BROMIDE, CEFAZOLIN, HEPARIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, heart rate increased, shock, vasodilation procedure, ventricular fibrillation. Albumin dosage: 250 ML ROUTE 042. Patient recovered.
