Albendazole side effect was reported by a Physician from GHANA on Mar 18, 2008. Female patient, 64 years of age, weighting 328.5 lb, was diagnosed with filariasis lymphatic and was treated with Albendazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: conjunctival hyperaemia, dermatitis exfoliative, oedema peripheral, oral pain, palpitations, pitting oedema, rash , stevens-johnson syndrome. Albendazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MECTIZAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
