Albendazole side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 15, 2005. Male patient, weighting 22.05 lb, was diagnosed with helminthic infection and was treated with Albendazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, anaemia, conjunctivitis, cough, dehydration, diarrhoea, dysuria. Albendazole dosage: 200MG SINGLE DOSE. During the same period patient was treated with PRAZIQUANTEL. Patient died on 01/16/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, dyspnoea, pulmonary oedema, renal failure chronic, uraemic encephalopathy. Albendazole dosage: 400MG SINGLE DOSE. During the same period patient was treated with DIETHYLCARBAMAZINE CITRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/26/2007.

Albendazole dosage: 400MG SINGLE DOSE. During the same period patient was treated with IVERMECTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/03/2007.
