Akarin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Jan 28, 2005. Male patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Akarin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood calcium decreased, blood osmolarity decreased, blood potassium decreased, cerebral atrophy, circulatory collapse, confusional state, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haemoglobin decreased. Akarin dosage: 10 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with CENTYL MED KALIUMKLORID, CORODIL, IMOZOP, LOCOID, MAGNYL, XATRAL UNO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/28/2004.

Akarin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from DENMARK on Nov 12, 2007. Male patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Akarin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral atrophy, tremor. Akarin dosage: 60 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with CYMBALTA. Patient recovered.
