Agrylin Side Effects Report #4869148-1
Agrylin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Dec 28, 2005. Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 124.0 lb, was diagnosed with myeloproliferative disorder, thrombocythaemia and was treated with Agrylin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, ejection fraction decreased. Agrylin dosage: 2 MG AM AND 1 MG PM PO. During the same period patient was treated with HYDREA, TRAZODONE, PROTONIX, COMBIVENT, LASIX, LISINOPRIL, HYTRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/29/2005.

Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 162.0 lb, was diagnosed with myeloproliferative disorder and was treated with Agrylin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, cardiac valve disease, international normalised ratio increased, platelet count decreased. Agrylin dosage: 0.5 MG TO 1 MG DAILY, UNK, ORAL - SEE IMAGE. During the same period patient was treated with COUMADIN, PROSCAR, COREG, LASIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, cardiac failure congestive, ventricular fibrillation. Agrylin dosage: 1 MG 3 TABS DAILY PO. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Agrylin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, cardiac failure congestive, diabetic nephropathy, renal failure. Agrylin dosage: 0.5 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, HYDREA, GLEEVEC. Patient recovered.
