Advaferon side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on July 13, 2005. Female patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatitis c What is  hepatitis c and was treated with Advaferon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: antinuclear antibody positive, autoimmune disorder, oedema peripheral, pallor, systemic sclerosis. Advaferon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TEMOCAPRIL. Patient recovered.

Advaferon side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 21, 2009. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 137.1 lb, was diagnosed with hepatitis c What is  hepatitis c and was treated with Advaferon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute prerenal failure, anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody positive vasculitis, ascites, hepatic encephalopathy, oedema peripheral, pleural effusion, pyrexia, skin graft, skin ulcer. Advaferon dosage: 12 MILLION IU 3X/WEEK; SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CEFOTAXIME, METHYLPREDNISILONE, PREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
