Advaferon side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on July 05, 2005. Female patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatitis c virus and was treated with Advaferon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: crohn's disease , diabetes mellitus, diarrhoea, gastric ulcer haemorrhage, hypoalbuminaemia, platelet count decreased, pyrexia, white blood cell count decreased. Advaferon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLOSTRIDIUM BUTYRICUM, DOMPERIDONE, LEVOFLOXACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Advaferon side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Oct 21, 2008. Male patient, weighting 199.7 lb, was diagnosed with hepatitis c  and was treated with Advaferon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cranial nerve disorder, demyelination, diarrhoea, dizziness , headache , nuclear magnetic resonance imaging brain abnormal, pyrexia, vision blurred. Advaferon dosage: (12 MILLION IU QD SUBCUTANEOUS), (12 MILLION IU 3X/WEEK SUBCUTANEOUS). During the same period patient was treated with LEVOTHYROXINE, AMARYL, CALSLOT, LASIX, BAYCARON, ALDOMET. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
