Adriamycin Side Effects Report #5957201-0
Adriamycin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Nov 06, 2008. Male patient was diagnosed with multiple myeloma  and was treated with Adriamycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amnesia, disease progression, fatigue, haemoglobin decreased, hypoaesthesia, multiple myeloma , neutrophil count decreased, platelet count decreased, pneumonia . Adriamycin dosage: DAILY DOSE:5MG/M2-FREQ:ON DAYS 1, 9 AND 12. During the same period patient was treated with ADRIAMYCIN PFS, CISPLATIN, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, ETOPOSIDE, VELCADE, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 72 years of age, weighting 135.0 lb, was diagnosed with breast cancer  and was treated with Adriamycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, fatigue, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased. Adriamycin dosage: 108 MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOXAN, TRIAMPTERENE, ASPIRIN, COZAAR, ZOCOR, PROTONIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: febrile neutropenia, haemoglobin decreased, hypotension, neutrophil count, pneumonia , white blood cell count decreased. Adriamycin dosage: 73 MG (50 MG/M*2), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with TAXOTERE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, NEULASTA, FENTANYL, ACETAMINOPHEN, PERCOCET, WARFARIN, PANTOPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Adriamycin dosage: 60 MG/M2 Q2WKS IV. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOXAN, AVASTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
