Adriamycin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on June 26, 2008. Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 176.4 lb, was diagnosed with sarcoma and was treated with Adriamycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , confusional state, dyspnoea, hyponatraemia, lethargy. Adriamycin dosage: 142MG (75MG/M2, ONCE); IVI. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, back pain , blood pressure decreased, blood pressure increased, cardiac failure acute, cardiomegaly, disseminated intravascular coagulation, dyspnoea, immunodeficiency. Adriamycin dosage: 15 MG, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ADRIAMYCIN PFS, VINCRISTINE SULPHATE, VINCRISTINE SULPHATE, DEXAMETHASONE, ENALAPRIL MALEATE, BACTRIM, FAMOTIDINE. Patient died on 01/17/2005.

Female patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with breast cancer metastatic, metastases to liver and was treated with Adriamycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anorexia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, cardiac arrest , cardiac tamponade, condition aggravated, dyspnoea, incorrect dose administered. Adriamycin dosage: 30 MG, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ADRIAMYCIN PFS, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, MEDICON, LOXONIN, SELBEX, ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE. Patient died.
