Adenosine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 29, 2005. Male patient, 78 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with cardiac stress test and was treated with Adenosine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , breath sounds abnormal, convulsion, depressed level of consciousness, dyspnoea, hypertension, hypoxia. Adenosine dosage: 65 MG IV ONE TIME. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Adenosine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on May 12, 2005. Female patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with cardiac stress test and was treated with Adenosine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myocardial infarction, agitation, anxiety , blood pressure increased, body temperature increased, cardiac failure congestive, confusional state, haemoptysis, neurological symptom. Adenosine dosage: 5 MILLIGRAM INTRAVENOUS BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with ADENOSCAN, OXYCONTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
