Adefovir side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Sept 09, 2005. Male patient, 34 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatitis b  and was treated with Adefovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemodynamic instability, hbv dna increased, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic failure, hypotension, liver transplant , lung infection, multi-organ failure, oliguria. Adefovir dosage: 10 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/20/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal tenderness, anorexia, disorientation, haemodynamic instability, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic failure, hypotension, listless, liver transplant . Adefovir dosage: 10 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/20/2005.

Adefovir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZEFIX, LACTULOSE, ALTAT, KANAMYCIN, ALDACTONE, ALLOID G, BIOFERMIN R. Patient died on 10/15/2003.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, blood creatinine increased, creatinine renal clearance decreased, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic failure, oesophageal varices haemorrhage, renal disorder, splenomegaly. Adefovir dosage: 10MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ZEFIX, METHYLPREDNISOLONE SUCCINATE, INTERFERON, GLYCYRRHIZIN, URSO. Patient died on 04/14/2004.
