Acyclovir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on May 10, 2007. Female patient, 91 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes zoster and was treated with Acyclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysphonia, dyspnoea, swelling face, swollen tongue. Acyclovir dosage: 1000 MG; X1; PO. During the same period patient was treated with AMITRIPTYLINE, DIAZEPAM, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
